That pop-up page is now announcing that the server reset will take place on Wednesday, August 1st instead of the previously announced date of July 31st. Also, in an attempt to give players an opportunity to test drive some assault 'Mechs, EA granted Level 31 status to a number of players, allowing them to pilot the largest 'Mechs available in the game. This was most likely done to allow players to help in working out the kinks in using the assault 'Mechs, and the level boost was seemingly random..

The new pop-up on the main page of MPBT: 3025 says that they will be installing a "new beta candidate", and as a result, all current members will have their accounts reset and go back to Cadet status on Tuesday, July 31. For more info on that and the upcoming Closed Beta, check out EA's Community Announcement Page. Better get the hang of the ol' Commando again...at least for a day or so.

Looks like this site is going to be hosted on Tripod until I can get things sorted out with my usual web host. Doesn't seem so bad so far..no pop-ups, at least. Hard to find a decent free service these days.

There are some organized clans out there, either formed in earlier incarnations of MPBT or from other BT/Mechwarrior games, that are currently fighting for House Liao in MultiPlayer Battletech: 3025. There is now a Liao Units page on this site where we will link to those units. Simply email me to arrange having your unit listed there.

A lot of players on MPBT are reporting a lock-up during the load screen. Your mouse pointer shows in its Windows "waiting" form, but the game does not finish loading. Simply hit ALT + F4, and the game will ask you if you wish to exit, then you may simply click "yes" to exit and try again.

This site may be a little bare bones for now, but I think it will serve its purpose as an organizational utility. Under the Shattered Sphere link you will find a brief history of the Houses that are embroiled in war in MPBT:3025. The main feature is the House Liao Forum. Right now it does not require registration. I hope we make good use of it. This may be a pre-beta, but there is no reason House Liao can't make the most of it. |
